Collette's Retirement

Collette's Retirement

After 20 years’ service Collette Dickson recently retired. Starting as a receptionist in the late 1980s, Collette graduated to payroll, accounts payable and receivable duties in 1996 and continued to perform these in exemplary style over the next decade - whatever needed doing, got done.

Now liberated from the demands of full time employment, Collette plans to spend more time with her grand-daughter and has immersed herself in the cultural aspects of Liverpool 2008. A seed of a business idea may also germinate, if time and inclination allow (it’s something to do with champagne breakfasts but I dare not say more). Between all that and indulging her passion for walking in the Eden valley in Cumbria, it sounds like she’s going to be busier than ever.

Wrenco wish her every success.

SOMEONE ELSE

Who’s gonna keep the clients payin’

Who’s gonna keep the cash flowin’

Who’s gonna keep the payroll advancin’

Who’s gonna keep purchase invoices from mountin’

Who’s gonna be there with a friendly ear

Who’s gonna sort out your pay rise next year

Who’s gonna do all that, now Collette’s taken a bow

The answer must be, it’s someone else’s turn now!
