Pennington Road Bridge

Wrenco Contractors Limited have completed a swish, curvaceous new footbridge over the Leeds-Liverpool canal at Pennington Road in Bootle. This modern, forward looking structure replaces the old stepped footbridge and offers a new easy access route to the town centre.

The works were carried out for Sefton MBC and form part of the local Housing Market Renewal Initiative and the Urban Boulevard concept for Hawthorne Road.
