Blundelsands - Hightown – Cycleway
The Blundelsands to Hightown footpath scheme is a project running adjacent to Anthony Gormleys ‘Another Place’ sea statues and consists of over 4km of cycleway/footway. A macadam footpath was constructed for the first phase with natural gravel used on the areas passing through the sand dunes. The project total is in excess of £200k and represents one of the largest projects the Partnering Team has undertaken. The client was Sefton MBC.
